RECOVERY

Scared?

When thinking about recovery, it is normal to feel worried; if you don't feel uncomfortable, anxious, or outright terrified, it shows that you don't care. Fear is a sign that you're prepared to face the future and live your life honestly. When they attend a treatment facility, the majority of recovering addicts feel fear.

It's okay if you are scared, it is normal to be scared of recovery. The fear of change is reasonable, but you need to recover for a better future. You may relapse once or twice, but it is all part of the process. Trust the process, and you will feel better day by day.

DO NOT BE SCARED TO GAIN OR LOSE WEIGHT IN THE PROCESS, THIS IS YOUR BODY AND IT IS ON IT'S WAY TO BE THE MOST HEALTHY VERSION OF IT SELF, THIS MAY INCLUDE WEIGHT GAIN OR LOSS. YOUR BODY IS BEAUTIFUL, CHERISH IT.

Professional Consulting

A doctor, dietician, and therapist working together is the most effective way to treat eating problems. Talk therapy, medical care, and nutrition advice are all included in treatment (individual, group, and family therapy). To address binge eating, anxiety, sadness, or other mental health issues, the doctor may prescribe medication.

For (severely) underweight people :

Keep in mind that calorie requirements often rise as weight increases. In order to sustain a consistent weight gain, people recovering frequently need to increase their caloric intake. Weekly weigh-ins that track improvement are therefore preferred.

It is often that people find themselves in Stressful conditions, and zoning out in front of the TV, or another method of numbing out helps.
